As the Department of Human Resources move forward in 2008 we are mindful of the initiatives that make us productive.  We strive to maintain a level of professionalism that is reflected in our performance, thereby setting the gold standard in serving the public in the best possible way. 

The theme of our 2008 work plan is “Bringing Human Resources Closer to You” and the Work Plan’s theme touches every facet of the Department and consists of all the Department’s work.  One of our main objectives outlined in the work plan for 2008 is the full implementation of Human Resources Devolution, a process where certain Human Resources responsibilities will be delegated to Authorized Officers in each Government Ministry. 

The adage of ‘Bringing Human Resources Closer to You’ will guide the Department of Human Resources throughout 2008 and years to come, as it keeps the service of people at the forefront of our  programmes, policies and plans.
